
Angela has over 15 years experience in the health, fitness and aquatics industries as a Certified Personal Trainer, swim coach and water aerobics instructor. Working exclusively as a swim instructor for the last 10 years, Angela’s specialty is teaching infants and toddlers to learn to love the water.
A graduate of San Diego State University with a BA in Kinesiology, Angela anticipates her Master’s degree research in motor learning as it pertains to swim skill acquisition will help pave the way for improved teaching methodologies for swim schools around the country.
A member of both local and national aquatic-based organizations, Angela seeks to help raise awareness of drowning prevention to her community, and to contribute to the ongoing research in aquatics.
On a personal level, Angela enjoys traveling with her husband, SCUBA diving, sushi, and reading.
