Lori is a valued member here at Floaties. She's swam competitively from the age of 4 years old to the time she was 18years old. The fly was her favorite stroke. She was also a spring board diver in her teens and into her early 20's and she still loves to practice up on those high boards from time to time! Her first job was working with severely disabled children which brought her a lot of satisfaction and taught her a lot about patience. At age 21, she began a seven year career training dolphins and other animals at Sea World, San Diego. She performed in the shows with the dolphins, pilot whales, sea lions, walruses and river otters. Lori left Sea World to continue her career working with animals at the San Diego Zoo where she trained Drill and Mandrill Monkeys for prenatal care. After her 2nd child was born, Lori decided to take a break and concentrate on being a Mom. She's known here in the pool for having a lot of patience and compassion for each of her little swimmers.
